About Us

We enjoy repair and restoration. Bringing a tired old cane rod back to life, straightened and re-wrapped, is honest and satisfying work.

We are a small rod workshop, where fly rods are still built by hand from split cane. To us a cane rod is more than a tool: built to suit a fisher and a water, it is fished and loved for years, and often handed on. That is what our work is about.

What pleases us most are the fishers who come back for the next rod, and the rods fished and kept for years. That is the sign that craft and care are worth something.
